Both his internship and residency training
took place on the Health Science Center’s Tulsa campus. In his final year
of training, Dr. Meese was named Chief Resident in surgery.
Dr. Meese is actively involved in helping
meet the needs of a wide number of patients in the region through his service
to Saint Francis Hospital. He has served on the hospital’s Parameters, Guidelines
and Outcomes Committee, and has also been a member of the Utilization Review
Committee.
Dr. Meese is a Fellow of the American
College of Surgeons and the Southwestern Surgical Congress. He is a member
of the American Medical Association, Tulsa County Medical Society, Oklahoma
Surgical Association, Tulsa Surgical Society, and the American Society of
General Surgeons. He also serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery
at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Tulsa. Dr. Meese is
a member of the American Hernia Society and Counselor for the Oklahoma Chapter
of the American College of Surgeons.
