Dr. John Frame
has been in the practice of general surgery at Surgical Associates since
1984. He serves as Medical Director of the Saint Francis Breast Center
and previously held the position of Chief of Surgery at Saint Francis Hospital.
Dr. Frame is
a native of St. Louis, Missouri, but completed high school in Tulsa. He
received his undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma in Norman.
He attended medical school at Washington University School of Medicine
in St. Louis, Missouri.
He completed his internship
and residency at University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center where he
also served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Frame also completed a research fellowship in cardiovascular surgery at Duke University Medical Center in Durham,
North Carolina.
As Medical Director
of the Saint Francis Breast Center, Dr. Frame has helped position the facility
at the leading edge of breast cancer care. His commitment to advanced technologies
and a multidimensional, coordinated approach to the treatment of patients
with breast cancer has benefited thousands of women who access the hospital’s
facility every year. Dr. Frame served as Oklahoma State Chairman of the
Cancer Liaison Program for the American College of Surgeons Commission
on Cancer, and as Cancer Liaison Physician at Saint Francis Hospital.
Dr. Frame is a Fellow of
the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Western Surgical Association,
Oklahoma State Medical Association, Oklahoma Surgical Society, Tulsa Surgical
Society, Southwestern Surgical Congress, Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group,
and the Society for the Study of Breast Diseases. He is also a Clinical
Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Oklahoma College of
Medicine in Tulsa. Dr. Frame has also assisted patients at Saint Francis
through work on the Surgery Patient Care, Operating Room, Surgery Quality
Assurance, Institutional Ethics, and Medical Executive Committees. Dr.
Frame is currently Chairman of the Board of Care Med Alliance, Inc., an
MSO network partnership between Saint Francis Health System and its physician
members. |
